Website History
I started off with a Piczo website like most
web-designers. I had a few of them, until my last one; Rejected-Romance where
I started learning how to make decent looking graphics and layouts on Adobe Photoshop 7.0. Eventually
I decided to get a subdomain as my coding knowledge was very poor. I applied for hosting at
Sylvia's site and am grateful that
she accepted me. I named my subdomain Crash. After about 5 months with Crash, I decided that
I wanted to move to a domain for many reasons. And here I am today; I plan to continue to
concentrate on graphic designing as I very much enjoy it. Coding is a pain for me, but I do hope
to improve on it in the future also.
Past Layouts
16/08/08 - Present
Name: None
Features:Jack Barakat (From the band All Time Low)
Comments: I've been meaning to put up a layout of Jack for a while now, so here it is! I hope you guys like it, because I really like
it!; the pictures (specifically), the brushes I've made, the CSS, the coding, etc! The only thing I wish I did was to make the sidebar a bit wider. And
incase you're wondering, I kind of have a thing for Jack. ;)
22/07/08 - 15/08/08
Name: Broken Hearts & Broken Dreams
Features:Agnete Hegelund (Model.)
Comments: It's been a while since I've made a layout that I actually quite like! This was initally going to be a coded layout
that I was going to put up for visitor content, but being the selfish me, I loved this and decided to wipe out the Audrey layout
and put this one up ASAP! I love the brushes, some of these are mine, but most of them can be found at
swimchick. I hope my visitors like this layout as much as I do! :D
13/07/08 - 21/07/08
Name: Divine Elegance
Features: Audrey Hepburn
Comments: This layout is certainly not my best; I tried something with basic colours and style. I actually think
the layout itself is ok looking, but the coding irritates me, especially the grey backgroud. I also wish that I left some actual room for the side bar,
as it looks out of place and untidy.
06/06/08 - 12/07/08
Name: Untitled
Features: Ashley Greene as Alice Cullen from the Twilight Series.
Comments:I actually really love this layout despite how simple it was to make. I came up with the idea of her dreaming about
the yellow Porsche by myself; I actually did quite a lot of colour editing and smoothing - I even bothered making the eyes a topaz/golden colour!
(Even though it isn't very noticeable.) I do wish that I chose a slightly ligher blue background colour, or I chose a colour that contrasted more with
the dark deep blue background.
03/05/08 - 05/06/08
Name: Fallen Angel From Heaven
Features: N/A
Vexel By: Alyson at Vexels.net, with colouring adjustments, made by me.
Comments:This layout stayed up for longer than expected; it sort of grew on me; but when I had this layout up there was lots of
school work going on, and my computer broke for a few weeks, and I was in the Twilight Series reading phase, which was why I neglected my site
a bit leaving this layout up for SO long. The blue background was brighter than it was supposed to be. The cloud background was from one of my
own pieces of photography, which was then manipulated in photoshop.
19/03/08 - 02/05/08
Name: Deepest Thoughts
Features: Alana Zimmer
Photographed By: Greg Kadel
Source: New York Times Magazine (Women's Fashion Spring 2007 Edition)
Comments: This layout stayed for longer than it was supposed to be due to computer issues, and school being so busy. I did really
liked the images of Alana, as she used magnificant poses; I liked the purple bubble dress, and also the pinky purpley background colour.
25/03/08 - 018/03/08
Name: Winter Candle Light
Features: Unknown
Photographed By: Jung Seok
Source: Vogue Girl Korea
Comments: I went for something very small and simple. (Although I would of
liked to have the layout a bit bigger.) I like the light blue and white used together.
7/03/08 - 24/03/08
Name: She Not Whom She Seems to Be...
Features: Lily Cole
Photographed By: Tim Walker
Comments: I went for something clean and simple - The photography is just
brilliant, and Lily has really made this editorial something really special, and I just
HAD to use these images.
27/02/08 - 6/03/08
Name: The Bright Light Beams From Her Eyes
Features: Coco Rocha
Photographed By: N/A
Comments: I think Coco Rocha just look marvellous in this editiorial; I think the
layout itself is nice, but the coding could of been better.
06/02/08 - 26/02/08
Name: Something's are Just Better Left Behind
Features: Lily Donaldson
Photographed By: N/A
Comments: Much smaller than the typical layout sizes I use; I like the navigation
and general coding, and I think the images used are just suburb.
30/01/08 - 05/02/08
Name: Going 80's
Features: N/A
Photographed By: N/A
Comments: Thought i'd do something different - but i'm not too fond of the header
and CSS.
17/01/08 - 30/01/08
Name: Lurking Shadows
Features: Agyness Deyn
Photographed By: N/A
Comments: Not particulary digging the design - But I think Agyness is fantastic in this
editorial/photoshoot because I think the pictures she's in tells a great story.
28/12/07 - 16/01/08
Name: She Shimmers in the Sun
Features: N/A
Photographed By: Eugenio Recuenco
Comments: I really like the colours, and the images, but not particulary the coding or CSS.
