Image Effect #5
Turn this:
Into this:
1. Open up your image. I'll be using this image of Sasha Pivovarova from an editorial named I'll Change Your Life
taken from the i-D July 2008 Issue. Keep in mind that the effect may vary depending on the lighting, and colours in the image your
using.
2. Go to Layer>>New Adjustment Layer>>Selective Colour and copy the following settings by using the drop down menu:
This is what my image now looks like:
3. Now take THIS texture
(which was from abernathi) and if you'd like, you can resize it or flip it vertically
like I did. (I resized it to 500x375).
4. Paste the texture provided in the previous step on top of all the other layers; this should be your first layer.
Set this texture on overlay at 30% or depending on your liking.
And viola! You're done! Here's my result!
