Icon Effect Using Gradient
Turn this:
Into this:
1. Open up your icon base or open up an image, and crop and resize it to 100x100px.
Here's what i'm going to use as an example:
2. Now open up an icon gradient. You can find plenty on
this page
Here's the one that i'll be using:
3. Copy and paste the icon gradient onto your icon base and set it to screen at 37%
Your layer pannel should look similar to this:
If you don't like this effect, then experiment with the other blending options, until you
find one that suits you best!
