Icon Effect Five
Turn this:
Into this:
1. Open up/create your icon base. I started off with this of Alex Bledel.
2. Duplicate your base layer and set it on screen at 53%
3. Create a new layer and fill it with the colour #98E6FE and set
this layer on colour burn on 100%
4. Create another new layer and fill it with the colour #F30089 and
set this layer on saturation at 25%
5. Now if you want, you can create a colour bubble.
To do this, simply create a new layer and set it on screen at 100%, then select a feather brush
(I chose 100px) and click somewhere on your icon.
6. Next, if you want, you can add text onto your icon. I added the text ''alex''
with the ''outer glow'' effect. (Right click on the text layer>>blending options>>outer glow)
And viola!
