Blending

Knowing how to blend is a good idea if you want to start making layouts and graphics. It's easy when you know how to, but it just involves practise.

1. Open up at least two images. If this is the first time your blending, try to pick something with similar backgrounds so it's easier to blend.
Here are the two images i've selected of Billie Joe Armstrong:

2. Now open a new document and set your canvas to whatever you want your blend size to be. I've chosen 400x400.
Now open up the images that you've selected to blend. We want it to fit your blend on your canvas so resize them by going to image>>image size
I've already resized and rotated mine.

3. Now copy and paste the images onto your new document. To move the images around your document use the move tool()
Remember: The image that you pasted first is your bottom/lower layer. And the image that you pasted last is your top/first layer.
Heres what my canvas/future blend now looks like:

4. Now select the eraser tool () and then right click anywhere on your canvas and select your style of eraser. (I recomend a feather eraser.) You can change your style of eraser if you want when you're blending different parts of your images.

5. Once you've selected your style of eraser, slowly erase/delete the top/first layer parts of the image so you're able to see the bottom/lower layer of the image. You can change your style of eraser if you want when you're blending different parts of your images.

Heres what my blend now looks like:

6. Congratulations if you've succeeded on blending! If not, don't worry, practise makes perfect, and I mean it!
So you may have noticed that your blend looks a bit boring. This is optional, but if you want, you can add some finishing touches. I've added an image colour effect, some text, and a border.
Heres my result!
